Steve Mawdsley’s Fishing Charters Vancouver Island

steve.jpgSteve Mawdsley’s Fishing Charter is located in Winter Harbour BC, a remote hamlet on Northern Vancouver Island in Quatsino Sound near Port Hardy. Winter Harbour is home to some of the last, truly unspoiled salmon fishing in the world.

Steve's Fishing Charters chose Winter Harbour to operate from because without a doubt, Winter Harbour has the biggest and the most Salmon on the West Coast. Winter Harbour also boasts some of the wildest remote wilderness in the world.

Steve is your Winter Harbour fishing guide and host aboard the FV “Reel Crazy” fishes a maximum of 4 anglers per week providing exceptional classic sports fishing in Winter Harbour and Quatsino Sound for wild salmon. Chinook (King Salmon) Coho (Silvers) Red Snapper, Ling Cod and Halibut are the fish we target for anglers, at the same time providing breathtaking scenery and photographic opportunities. Catching your limit of large salmon is the norm at Winter Harbour. #WinterHarbour.

Photographers Take Note: Be sure and bring your camera as this will not just be a Reel Crazy Fishing Adventure but also a Wildlife Photography Adventure. Wildlife photo opportunities abound on Northern Vancouver Island’s Quatsino Sound region, the envy of many a world class wilderness/wildlife photographer.
